earlybird coffee meets Kaffeeform—a wonderful story of how we met

Actually, we at earlybird were just looking for the perfect gift for our dear student intern, Charlie. She was about to start an internship as part of her studies, and we wanted to give her a little treat to celebrate. We quickly decided it should be a personalized coffee-to-go mug. A faithful companion for her daily train ride to the internship, allowing Charlie to enjoy her coffee in complete relaxation every morning.

So we set out to find a thermal coffee-to-go mug that not only looks great but is also sustainable. But where to buy a coffee-to-go mug? Luckily, we found what we were looking for quickly during our search: the coffee-to-go mugs from the Berlin-based company Kaffeeform, made from recycled coffee grounds, won us over immediately.

What makes this coffee-to-go mug special: it’s made from recycled coffee grounds and recycled wood fibers that would otherwise have been discarded. Kaffeeform collects the coffee grounds from Berlin cafés. They source the wood fibers from a wood production facility in southern Germany. The result is a unique coffee-to-go cup developed with a lot of passion. Made from renewable raw materials. Created from what would otherwise be waste. Durable, sturdy, and stylish.
